Practitioner accused of screwing up penis enhancements
Spanish Doctor, Dr Gary Rheinschild faces possible disciplinary action and even a reprimand of his surgical licence following accusations that he contributed to 3 penis enhancement surgeries between 2003 and 2005.
According to the news, Rheinschild, 75, is accused of causing gross negligence in his treatment of these 3 men and of continuing to practice despite revealing signs of eye problems.
Discussing his case, Rheinschild’s lead attorney claims that these allegations against his visual capacity are false, as a Judge has already agreed that he is not visually incapable of performing surgery. Continuing, Rheinschild attorney believes these allegations are due to other doctors seeking to ruin his surgical reputation, and nothing more.
Are their accusations authentic?
Penis growth surgeries are established for holding an element of risk, number one being their reputation for resulting in penile shortening and deformity, and it could be agreed that this is what occurred here.
As his attorney explained:”like any cosmetic procedure, there is always somebody who doesn’t like the results. That is part of the risk that you go through.’
Penis enhancement surgery is not acknowledged as being safe or 100% effective by the Medical Association, and unfortunately for Rheinschild the media are backing claims that his reconstructions often ended negatively.
In the documentation provided by the Medical Association, the 3 clients revealed the following.
Case One: Patient sought out Dr Rheinschild for penis enlargement surgery in late 2003, and at the time proclaimed his concerns that Dr Rheinschildseemed a bit confused. Portrayed by his practice staff as being eccentric’ but the best in the country, the patient agreed to the surgery only to later find that the surgery had deformed his penis. Despite begging for reconstructive surgery to correct this mistake, Rheinshild refused to help.
Accusation No.2: 21 year old patient asks for Rheinschild in 2005. In his notes he reports that Rheinschild’s surgical hands regularly quivered and his memory was off. Over 4 weeksafter the $8,000 surgery, the skin flap stitched onto his penis ripped open and his penis quickly shrunk in size before curving. After repetitively attempting to get a follow up with Doctor Rheinschild who ignored his request the patient went to another cosmetic surgeon to acquire cosmeticsurgery on his penis shaft.
Client Three: Following penis enlargement surgery implemented by Rheinschild, customer number 3 complained of pain and a large cut after skin was taken surgically removed from his back to create the skin flap. Accompanying this damage the claimantindicated that his foreskin was becoming discoloured. Despite attempting to contact Doctor Rheinschild continually, his phone calls were not returned until patient three threatened to take his case to Medical officials
Will he lose his rights to practice medicine?
Since 2005, Dr Rheinschildis noted for having performed 1000’s of surgeries without complication and in recognition of this history, a Judge has proclaimed against an instant cancellation of his licence.
Further disciplinary proceedings are expected to take place in January 2010.
